Bell buoy/Roman Rocks (5m - 18m)
Large reef made up of gullies and pinnacles. The reef is covered with soft corals (characteristic of the Cape), sponges, sea fans and feather stars. There is also a variety of fish and nudi-branches.Philips Reef (8m - 18m)
A closer reef with characteristic gully formation. Colourful sea fans, sponges and soft corals. Crustaceans,
nudi-branches and fish also populate the reef.Haerlem Wreck (18m - 20m)
A navy frigate, scuttled in 1987 for diving. It lies close to Bell Buoy. Colonised by local sea inhabitants in various holes, nooks and crannies, making it an interesting dive.
Thunderbolt (15m - 30m+)
Situated on the Wild Side for the more advanced diver. Hard and soft corals are abundant and basket stars are found draped on sea fans. The water is somewhat cooler, but makes an interesting dive.
Suicide Reef (15m - 30m+)Caves, drop offs and overhangs, also to be found on the Wild Side. Covered in hard and soft corals. Large game fish are common.
R.I.Y. Banks (10m - 30m+)
Magnificent reef characterised by large fish, soft corals and rich species diversity. This remote location often has good visibility and suits the more adventurous and experienced diver.
Evans Peak (15m - 30m+)
Seldom dived, again for the more experienced diver. Magnificent soft corals and an abundance of life awaits the adventurous.
St. Croix Island (2m - 30m)
Stunning marine reserve characterised by caves, drop-offs, walls and gullies overgrown by soft corals, sponges and fans. A multitude of fish inhabit the waters, together with Jackass Penguins which feed vigorously on them. St. Croix is surrounded by two smaller islands, spectacularly beautiful, which makes this trip worthwhile.
Slipway/Postmans (2m - 8m)Easy shore entry dive for the novice and ideal for resort courses to give the inexperienced a taste of diving. Night diving can be spectacular on this reef, with rays, colourful soft corals and a large variety of fish.
Devil's Reef (3m - 7m)
Colourful shore entry with approximately 150m swim. Tightly cropped soft corals, sponges, seaweeds and sea fans are visited by numerous fish.
